It’s not done; I’ve got quite a bit of detail to add, settlements, roads, etc. but this gives a taste of the concept I’m heading towards. I like this topology and render now, the mountains look like mountain chains, the hills are hilly, the plains are flat, the rivers are visible and they are all where they should be for the Moonshea isles. Eine #emacs / #org-mode / #latex / #TexLatex Frage: Ich hab eine kurze Rollenspiel campangne geschrieben, die ich als PDF veröffentlichen oder drucken will. Kennt jemand entsprechende templates für so eine 2 seitige Beschreibung oder so ein 6 seitiges foldable Format, dass ich mit orgmode / latex nutzen kann? Ich nehm auch gern was anderes als LaTex, wenn es was praktisches gibt. This is an #emacs / #org-mode / #latex question: I have an RPG campaing written down as an org document. I'd like to 'publish' this as a pdf. Does anyone know a good template for #RPG one page (maybe foldable) adventure / hexcrawl descriptions? I am thinking of the usual org-mode -> latex -> pdf toolchain but I will happily use some other intermediate format for pdf creation if there's a good template available.

I have spent the weekend in another #RPG rabbit hole and found old school renaissance games. Those are lightweight as I remember them when I first played the first edition of the german Das schwarze Auge. The rules are simple, death is immanent, a lot is left to the referee to flesh out. Especially #mausritter website has touched me and I have been thinking about running campaings with it with the child. And I finally understood the idea of a #hexcrawl which had me baffled when first reading #Traveller adventures.
